For those families out there, the hotel has built a new wing of family-friendly rooms, just a few steps across the road from the original hotel. It has its own array of facilities, including a new swimming pool and new bar and restaurant, and you will have use of the facilities at the Barbados Beach Club.
Where is it?
On Maxwell Beach, a 10-min drive from the nightlife at St Lawrence Gap. 20 min to Bridgetown. Transfer time from airport: 15 min.
Eats and Drinks
Poolside restaurant serving buffet breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. Veneto's Italian restaurant (a la carte dining, dinner only), Sea Rocks (seafood, a la carte, dinner only), local charge applies for lobster, shrimp and steaks. Restaurants open on rotation.
Entertainment
Low-key nightly entertainment. Weekly cabaret night, manager's weekly rum punch party.
Fun and Games
Swimming pool, fitness room, water aerobics, snorkelling, windsurfing, Hobie Cat sailing, boogie boards, kayaks, beach volleyball, tennis and golf-driving net.
