Kusadasi refers to both the resort town and seaside district, located in the Province of Aydin, and is one of the leading holiday resorts in Turkey. It is located on the Western coastal region of Turkey. It is 90 km from Izmir, the region's main metropolitan centre, and is considered one of the most attractive destinations in the Aegean region.

Kusadasi is bordered in the Northeastern part by the Germencik district, in the Southeastern part by Soke district, in the Northern part by Selcuk district and the Aegean Sea along the Western side.
