Gran Canaria is one of the 7 main islands that make up the Canary Islands and is the third largest of the Canary Islands. Situated close to the African coast, Southeast of Tenerife and West of Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria has been shaped by volcanic activity throughout its past and offers both beach and mountainous landscapes to enjoy and explore whilst on holiday here. Gran Canaria has different climatic conditions depending on where you visit on the island, with the South of the island consisting mainly of sand dunes and golden beaches whilst inland the mountainous regions create greenery with ample flora and fauna and spring like conditions.
