Dressed in olive green and accessorised with high-backed chairs and statues of goddesses it's one seriously chic dining room.
As to the food itself expect big buffets serving Cypriot specialities and British fare. There's an a la carte menu too. And as this hotel is part of the Thomson Gold collection there's plenty going on in the evenings too. Think gala dinners live music and glitzy shows.
The rooms meanwhile are comfortable and are kitted out with minibars satellite TVs and air-conditioning. Superior rooms meanwhile come with views of the pool or sea. Extras like fluffy bathrobes tea and coffee-making facilities and Hi-Fis add the finishing touches.
When it comes to facilities they're in no short supply here. There's a tennis court gym and a sauna to keep you occupied.
As for location the Atlantica Bay is in an out-of-the-way spot close to the ancient ruins of Amathus. It's about five kilometres from lively Yermasoyia and ten kilometres from the city of Limassol. If you do want to get out and about there's a bus stop just over the road from the hotel.
